She moved to the US after which she started appearing in a variety of films, as minor characters. She portrayed the role of Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars the film that was her first credits part. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
